Living Word Bible Fellowship
The Truth shall set you free!
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Acts 16:31
God has made it very easy for anyone to accept Jesus as their Saviour.
It is as easy as A B C. . . .
A — Admit you are a sinner.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:10 KJV
B — Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried and rose from the dead.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart

that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9 KJV
C — Confess your sins to Jesus.

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is

made unto salvation." Romans 10:10 KJV
Once this is done, then you know that you are saved, for it says "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13 KJV
But that is only the beginning!

So what comes next?...
If you truly confessed your sins and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior.....Congratulations and welcome to the Family of God!
Now the adventure begins!
You now have the Holy Spirit living inside of you and you will never be the same!
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
Here is what we recommend you do next:
1. Get yourself a good Bible - there are many translations but we recommend the King James Version - do not let anyone convince you that it is too hard to understand...it is not! The problem with many of the other translations is that by slightly changing words to "make God's Word easier to understand" they have changed the intended meaning of God's Word! Do not be deceived by these other translations! Also, at this point, we recommend you get a Bible that is just the text, not containing a lot of extras such as study notes or commentaries. These will be more of a distraction at the beginning than a help. Later on you can get a Bible with study notes and commentaries.
2. Start by reading the book of John in the New Testament. Before you pick up your Bible to read; pray (talk) to Jesus asking for your mind to be opened and for the Holy Spirit to guide you as you read. When you are first reading God's Word, just read it through, do not try to analyze every word or phrase, there will be plenty of time to "study" God's Word later. Just get familiar with God's Word. As you are reading a word or phrase may seem to jump out at you, this is the Holy Spirit showing you things in the Word of God for you. Stop and ask the Holy Spirit why He brought this to your attention and listen for His answer.
3. Read the other 3 Gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke) in the New Testament. Each one tells the account of Jesus. Remember to pray before reading and be open to what the Holy Spirit wants to show you!
This is a good start!
