The Most Important Thing

The most important thing in the world is having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  The Bible states that in order to have salvation, one must “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.”  Acts 16:31 (KJV).  That is what it takes, not joining a church, not becoming a part of a “group”.  The institutional church today is not what the Bible talks about with regard to the Body of Christ.  Jesus told us what His church is: “Where two or three are gathered together in my name there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20 (KJV).  Therefore the church of Jesus Christ is 2 or more believers together anywhere.  As for teaching and doctrine, we have a perfect Bible, the King James Version (KJV);  we have a perfect salvation in Jesus Christ; and we have a perfect teacher, the Holy Spirit.  What more do we need?   We believe in the Priesthood of all believers.  There is no need to go to a man in order to get to Jesus.  We are priests who can come to God on our own, and He will teach and guide us to be like Jesus.

The Purpose of Living Word Bible Fellowship

The purpose of this Fellowship is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by declaring the Truth of God's Word.  We hope to challenge those without a relationship with Christ to examine their lives.  We hope to encourage and challenge those who already have a relationship with Christ by studying God's Word.    What ever your background or where ever you are coming from, Jesus wants to have a relationship with you.   Our aim is to live as the Bible commands and the only way to know if we are on the right path is to study the Truths of God's Word and see how we measure up!  Join us as we do this!  But even before we can live as the Bible commands, we must have a relationship with the one and only true Saviour, Jesus Christ which leads us to the most important thing.....
